Securing our Future Talent
A joint statement is published by the Careers Alliance with the support of a wide range of employers, professional bodies and Sector Skills Councils. It calls for collaborative action between professional careers advisers, employers and schools and colleges in providing careers advice and guidance to young people.
The slideshow below captures some of the supporting quotes received from employers, professional bodies and Sector Skills Councils.
The Careers Alliance, which is made up of more than twenty of the country’s largest skills and education organisations, encourages and supports a commitment to the following principles which underpin the delivery of careers education and IAG support:
- all-age, all-stages, all abilities;
- a primary focus on the individual user of career IAG services;
- improved CPD for the career CEIAG workforce;
- a national quality framework to ensure high-quality career development support.
